Meet Amideus. He has Type I Diabetes and used to be very scared of finger pricks. At first, his parents took care of his blood sugar but now he does it all by himself! On weeknights, after homework, he loves playing soccer, helping cook dinner, and talking with friends.

Amideus is an orange dinosaur with a white belly. He has lighter orange spines running down his back. He has round, black eyes and a smiling mouth.
