Squishmallows Wiki

On April 19, 2022, Squishmallows revealed a new six tier Rarity Scale that would start appearing on tags to denote specific limited edition Squishmallows. Any Squishmallow with a rarity label has a maximum number of units that will ever be manufactured of them before their design is retired permanently. They would usually come in a singular size

Rare Squishmallows are labeled with a silver tag and have a maximum of 75,000 units each available worldwide.

Ultra Rare Squishmallows are labeled with a golden tag and have a maximum of 50,000 units each available worldwide. However unlike other Ultra Rare Squishmallows, that would usually come in a singular size. Mackinney comes in a 16 and 5 inch size.

Special Edition Squishmallows are labeled with a holographic tag and have a maximum of 20,000 units each available worldwide. However, Tonya and Fiorello are only available in Amazon mystery boxes and Jazmanian is given to Jazwares employees.

The Select Series is a line of Squishmallows labeled with a black tag and exclusive to squishmallows.com. There are no more than 10,000-5,000 units of each Select Series Squishmallow available worldwide, with some even being significantly more limited than that. Some Select Series Squishmallows are only available via Mystery Boxes and come in 8" (Such as Bob, Niala, and Witt). There also 2-packs of two 8" Select Series Squishmallows (ex. Brooke and Omar, Sugar and Spice). Some other Select Series Squishmallows come in varying sizes, Jack has a 16" variant, and Geranium, Garda, Mamie, Eaton and Hollandaise come in 5".

The Check-In Series is a line of Squishmallows themed around and exclusive to special locations/events. They are labeled with a special purple tag.

Founder's Edition Squishmallows have the most limited availability in terms of units released. They are only obtainable by redeeming the exceedingly rare Founder's Redemption Card hidden in Squishmallows Trading Card Packs.

Other Limited Editions[]

There are other qualities Squishmallows may possess beyond the Rarity Scale tiers that mark them as unique and limited availability.

For instance, First to Market edition Squishmallows, which feature a special First to Market badge on their tag, signify that a specific individual Squishmallow is one of the first 5,000 of its kind to be produced and released to retailers. This is not the case for all Squishmallows, however, as some new Squishmallows may not have the First to Market badge entirely.
